About Mossman Gorge Centre

Visit Mossman Gorge and experience the Daintree World Heritage Rainforest with pristine waterfalls, mountains and vivid flora and fauna, all the while getting lost in its enchanting stories and rich Indigenous heritage. Connect with the lives, culture and beliefs of the local Kuku Yalanji community and experience, first hand, their connection to the natural environment.

Begin your trip by paying a visit to the Mossman Gorge Centre, this world class eco-tourism centre provides a number of services and facilities such as a comfortable welcome area, café, Indigenous art gallery and information point for the Gorge’s Dreamtime Walks. The Centre also has extensive car and bus parking, set away from environmentally sensitive areas. A shuttle bus will transport you into the heart of the Gorge where a journey of discovery through the unique wilderness awaits.

Find yourself under the towering canopy of the rainforest which is beautifully framed by the imposing mountains. The Gorge is also an inviting and refreshing location for a swim, an option many visitors choose to take. And the flora and fauna of the area guarantee to excite and amaze any budding enthusiast.

Book in to one of the award-winning Dreamtime Walks, conducted by the traditional owners of the Gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people.
